To keep it economical some coatings are not as durable as those if more expensive guns. I had a Walther PPS M2 with a Tenerite coating. Those were a Senechal trigger, Hogue grip sleeve and stainless steel guide rod with factory weight 17 lb spring. I had about 4 different brands of ammo, Blazer Brass, Fiocchi, Federal and WWB. The little pistol did well with all of them, no failures of any kind.

My Security-9, was having an issue with the slide release - from the first day I used it. When I put a loaded magazine in, the slide would not release easily by pulling back and letting go as you normally do on semiautomatic pistols. This happened about 90% of the time.
