My love for the long glaive is a lot about the feeling but i didn't try a lot of weapons actually. What I like about the Long Glaive: Good damage and range to be able to "harass" in close combat the ennemy cavalry without risking to die. Well, there is the long glaive but other than that, there's the war razor which is similar and the bent razor which is interesting because it only does swing damage (I hate doing a thrust attack when I meant to swing, probably just my incompetence but still it helps). Also, this sword is fast enough to land two swings (possibly killing 2 enemies) where a glaive would land one, all while equipping a shield and being effective against breaking shields itself.
